I've been living near and in Chemnitz for three years now and I never felt really well in that city. I always thought of only as a temporary place to stay, waiting to move somewhere else. Also my job there wasn't quite what I wanted to do anymore.

The moment of change has now come. About a week ago I moved to Berlin after I found a new job here. I'm still looking for a new apartment, living with a friends of a friend for the first few weeks.

Today I finally took my camera for a walk through the districts of Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg where I'd very much like to find a place to live. They are so full of beautiful places ...

I think this city will keep me as well as my camera busy for a long time and of course I'll let you all see the results of that. Here's some shots from todays walk:
